How Can Unwanted Pregnancy Be Prevented After Intercourse?

I was taking antibiotics (Z pack) during my placebo week (there was 5 pills for the antibiotic) and then I started a new pack one day late. I took the late pill as soon as I could, and the next pill at regular time. I had unprotected sex 5 days after I didn t take this pill. The only thing we used as backup was him pulling out, which he always does. I m really worried, what should I do?

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, if you had taken first set of pills right afterward or within the window period of therapeutic effects then hopefully the protection will be present however if missed in adequate dosing and the withdrawal method though poor in controlling the results can yet be fruitful than discharging within.

Get a urine pregnancy test and ultrasound pelvis after consulting a gynecologist as soon as possible if ant delay in monthly cycle occurs.
