General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
Post coital pills are effective if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. This agents are quite effective.
But if you are not planning to be pregnant, it is advised to use other method of contraception like condom or OCP.
Hope this helps
Take care
