How Can Unwanted Pregnancy Be Terminated?

Hi Doctor, My wife got pregnancy confirmation today after urine test using Velocit. This test is done after she miss her period for 15days. She is healthy 27year female. As we are newly married in 2016 we dont want a baby soon. So pls recommend us the best contraceptive pill to avoid my wife pregnancy. Pls treat this query on priority.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Now that her pregnancy test has come positive, she has conceived. Contraceptive pill is recommended to be used for prevention of pregnancy and not after the pregnancy has happened.
Since it is less than 10 weeks, you can prefer to go for medical abortion by using pills. However, it needs to be done under medical supervision.
If the pregnancy crosses 10 weeks, then surgical abortion is the only way out. Kindly consult Obstetrician for further evaluation and appropriate management.
