Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Well, you did not mention the size of fibroids which is very important for us when we discuss possible approaches. There are various treatment options for fibroids and surgery is just one of it. It is usually recommended if fibroids are larger than 10 cm or cause symptoms such as pain or irregular bleedings. If this is smaller than, there may be another treatment options such as watchful waiting, hormonal treatment, or ultrasound ablation. Many women with uterine fibroids experience no signs or symptoms, and in this case watchful waiting could be the best option.
Surgery is today the last option but this is minimally invasive and routine procedure today so it can be done as laparoscopic or robotic myomectomy which is simple and effective surgery. Your ovarian measures are fine so this should not worry you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein
