How Can Uterine Fibroids Be Removed?

I have a 16mm intrauterine fibroid and my ultrasound noted my right ovary is not visiable. I have pain on the right side of my groin that goes down my inner thigh and pain on the right side of my back. I am 64 yrs old. Is this a cause for concern. Is 16mm considered lg I can t see my GYN till August 30

can be removed by surgically.. only uterus or the uterus+fallopian tubes+ ovaries depending on the situation
