How Can Uterine Fibroids Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed with fibroids and am taking 5mg noresthirone to stop bleeding. I have been taking 3 a day for 2 days and not stopped. I am seeing a gynaecology consultant at 3.00 today. Can I double up to 2 tablets, bleeding is lot less but still there.

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
You should not double dosage since this is hormone and dosage should not be increased because it may have some complication. If there is less bleeding then you should just continue with your therapy. It may take more days till it stabilizes. In severe cases,surgery can be done to remove fibroids.
