How Can Uterine Fibroids Be Treated?

I m 48 yes old. I have several large uterine fibroids. My uterus measures 14.2x5.5x8.7. My fibroids are 3.3x2.5x2.8, and so on.... My questioname is what is the best option for me. Even though and past child bearing age, I very much like to keep my uterus. I don t have any pelvic problems, no pressure, no constipation, urinary issues or even menstrual cramps however I do have anemia and I already spent a year taking iron pills. My hemoglobin got back up but theven minute I stop the Fe pill I fell anemic again. Is myomectomy an feasible option for me.

Hello,

Fibroids may lead to uterine bleeding, which may lead to anemia. Take iron tablets daily and eat green leafy vegetables. The fibroid may be treated with non-surgical techniques like the mobilization of the artery or hormonal debunking may useful.

If symptoms not improved, then please consult your physician so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
