Helllo, I've recently had a yeast infection.. I used over the counter antibiotics that was a 3-day thing that my mother suggested; After the 3rd day of it.. I went ahead and bought a douche.. The white stuff that was inside , seems to be gone.. and so is the swelling and the redness.. However, in the inside when I used the douch after a 4 day break.. The douche seemed to give me a burning sensation that I just could not bare.. I have no idea what's happening.. Please help !! Because it's irritating from the inside ..
Yeast infection is fungal infection. It needs anti fungals and not anti biotics. Persisting burning sensation in vagina means persistent yeast infection. Use vaginal clotrimazole tab for 3-5 days. Avoid douching.Maintain genital hygiene regularly by soap and water. Use clean, dry, loose, cotton underwear. If symptoms persists, visit gynaecologist for pelvic examination and vaginal swab culture if needed. Oral antifungals may then be needed.
Hope I answered your query. Regards.
