How Can Vaginal Infection Be Treated?

Hello, I suffered from uti 2 yrs back with E. Choli. Same symptoms have occurred again, I saw a doctor who prescribed a vaginal suppository (fenza) and monurol. However the whitish brown discharge hasn t stopped, only the burning and swelling has stopped. I was earlier treated with nitrofurantoin, but I did not complete the course. What medicine should I take to clean out the infection? I have been experiencing infected discharge for 8 days now and don t want the infection to spread.

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Use some vaginal wash to maintain a normal ph of vagina. Hope it helps.
