Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My granddaughter is 3 and has had a vaginal test infection. The nystatin she was given is not working she went to doc again tohis dvening and refused to pee. He wouldn t prescribe anything until he tested to see which antibiotic she needs. She is in so much discomfort. Screams if put on toilet. Won t take a bath. Is there anything we can do? I have a tube of miconazole nitrate 2percent. Could that be tried? Any better than nystatin?
