How Can Vascular Dementia Be Treated?

I just need some ideas to help my husband. Just told he has Vascular Deminia. He does not want to hear about it We saw the doctors at the Va. He was never sick til he had 8 stents put in him . What or how do I handle this. He is 83 never sick til he hit 80. Thank you Maureen Constantine

Vascular dementia is a subtype of stroke. You should discuss with your doctors but usual treatment is aspirin or clopidogrel and treating risk factors of stroke such as high cholesterol, diabetes and/or hypertension if that persons has these conditions. Kind regards
