How Can Viral Bronchitis Be Treated?

I have RADS and since Jan 17 I have had 3 bouts of bronchitis lasting 2 months or longer. Currently I have a viral bronchitis x 3 weeks, use albuterol 3x a day, Flovent 1 puff 2x/ day for 3 weeks. Still coughing. Wondering if I should be on Singulair. On Flonase daily plus Claritin.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, you should definitely start singulair inhaler.
Singulair inhaler is having salmeterol and fluticasone combination.
Salmeterol is long acting inhaled bronchodilators.. Fluticasone is inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).. This combination is good and very effective for long term control of bronchitis.
So take Singulair inhaler and Claritin tablet.
Don't worry warm water gargles and steam inhalation 4-5 times a day.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
