How Can Vomiting And Diarrhea In A Child Be Treated?
Hi, my son is 4 years old, he started vomiting from yesterday 4:30pm. He committed twice. Came with bellyache. He went to bed from 7pm then had diarrhea twice. Really watery. He committed twice this morning from 07:30 to 08:30. He had low body temperature of 34.1 yesterday, now he is 35.4. what shall I do please?
Hi thank you For querry. As you mentioned He has gastroentritis along with low body temprature. 1st thing to keep him warm may be with blanket or rubbing the periphries along with oral rehydrated therapy ORS continue to drink. give him soft diet like banana,youghurt and rice. Syp dimenhydinate before every food
Syp Zincat 1TSF once per day for 10 days. if the condition become worse feeling lethargic reluctant to feed sunken eyes and drowsy or persistant low body temperature than kindly consult a pediatrician. Hope the answer will help you to asses his condition and monitiring.
