How Can Vomiting Be Treated?
Hello, I am not sure whether I have food poisoning or the stomach flu but I spent hours last night vomitting. Today, I was very weak but am now able to keep liquids down. I was wondering if I can take an OTC medicine to help the process? Will it harm my bowel?

Vomiting could be due to food poisoning/gastroenteritis.
You can take OTC drug.
It will not affect the bowel.
You can take drug containing ondansetrone like vomikind
Eat soft diet like rice with added salt and lime, yogurt, buttermilk, toast
Take small frequent meal rather than large meal
Take proper rest
