Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
for the past four to five days I have vomited everything that I have eaten, I have had severe acid reflux at night when rarely have ever had heartburn at all ever, and have not had a bowel movement in the same time span that I have been vomiting and having the acid reflux
Most probably it could be due to severe acid reflux. As a first line management, you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and plan for an endoscopy to rule out possibilities like a hiatus hernia. Avoid spicy foods to prevent recurrence of symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
