Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor, my daughter 9 years old, vomiting since mid night once every hour. No solid is there, but only the water content is coming out what ever she drink after 15 mins. No fever, no motions. We have domistral 10 mg and emiset 2mg. Kindly advise the dose.
Hello, I understand your concern. Reading that your daughter is vomiting since mid night, and I don't know what time is there(because maybe we can have different time) to understand how many times she had vomited. But without knowing the reason, I wouldn't like to stop vomiting more than I would suggest you to see more about hydration, as she is loosing liquids. What is the most important thing after vomiting is dehydration( and this take more attention in children). And in this condition I would suggest you to go to the healthcare center or emergency unit for an iv serum for rehydration and than may be you can give her domistral. About the dosage without knowing her weight I wouldn't say anything. I wish she will recover fast! Regards, Eniola
