General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Walking pneumonia is a lung infection that is generally caused by atypical bacteria that generally do not respond well to augmentin. In these cases it is generally azythromycine or levofloxacine that are used and in few cases doxcycyclin.

You might need to have another visit with your doctor and discuss the option treatments for walking pneumonia and consider taking one of the drugs mentioned above.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
