Hi Dr.,
My daughter is 4 years old. One day she got out of conscious suddenly, was hardly breathing, and had red rash on her chest. The doctor injected her with Cortisone and adrenalin, then he asked us to do IGE test for her blood. The doctor diagnosed it as acute allergy case.
The IGE test result was > 1100.
Our questions are:
Is it really acute allergy case?
What should be the next step in examinations?
How can we avoid that case in the future?
