I. M nandini Age - 22 Weight- 43 was. Suffering from jaundice for last two weeks now Ihave recovery from it suffered jaundice for 10 days thn recovered by taking Ayurveda medicine and precautions now I m. Still feeling weakness...m underweight olready

Hello,

Even after recovery from Jaundice, you need to take much care regarding your diet. The liver is the largest organ and it takes time to recover. Neglect often results in relapses.

You need to stay away from oily, spicy junk food. Take homemade boiled food for a couple of few more days till you gain weight. Continue to take enzymes (Syrup Aristozyme) to make digestion easier.

Take Papaya & Mango which are rich in natural digestive enzymes. You can take antacids or Omeprazole to avoid bloating and abdominal discomfort.

Take food rich in whole grains, fiber, oatmeal, almonds, fruits, veggies, berries.

Avoid food which has lean protein, fishes & meat. They are harder for your liver to digest. Avoid alcohol, smoking & processed food.

Eat meals in small amounts. Stay well hydrated & avoid stress. Take adequate sleep. Do regular exercises.
