Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have sprained my ankle twice once many years ago and again several years ago. I ve had physical therapy but my ankle still feels weak. I ve had plantar fasciitis in the same foot. I also have some osteopenia in that hip. Now I m having knee pain too. I d like to know which exercises I should be doing and if I should go see an Orthopedist.
Chronic ankle pain may indicate underlying ligament tear from past injury or sprain.
I would recommend you to get prescription of an MRI of the ankle from your ortho surgeon for much precise diagnosis and perfect curative management ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
General & Family Physician
