How Do I Know If Submandibular Gland Has An Infection?
Hi I belive my right submandubular gland might have a infection in it or maybe a stone. I did have 3 tiny sores on inside of my cheek three days ago . Now it hurts and is very swollen. It does have a slight red line too. What is the worst that can happen to me?
HI. IN an infection , the sumandibular gland is swollen, painful, may increase in size with food, there may be a fever with chills. The opening duct is under the tongue near the center called frenulum. The three sores in the cheek may be due to another reasons. Nothing worst can really happen to you, if you visit an ENT Specialist to help coming to a correct diagnosis and carry on the proper management as per your Doctor's advise .
