Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i had a cut, 4 stitches on my finger, it healed up ok, but then i got soe over granulation on the healing part, i went to the dr, and the nurse put silver nitrate on it yesterday, it scabbed up and the scab has fallen off, and its about half the size, is there anything i can do to help the healing process?
Usually healing is a normal physiological process which does not need anything to boost it. Only if the wound is big, not healing then the medical or surgical intervention is done.
As the wound is healing on its own scale of speed, you should allow that to happen as it is your own normal healing process time, which needs to be followed on its pace.
