How Do You Know If You Have An Incomplete Abortion?
Hi doctor was 3 weeks pregnant and intended to do abortion.i used rotec TM 75 ,induced 2 and 2 orally.after 7hr I saw blood and clots ,for a few minutes then it stopped immediately.i still have pregnancy signs nausea n vomit with no bleeding.am I still pregnant n why should I do next.thnx
I assume that you have consulted a doctor before taking those medicines.
If you have not then, I suggest you visit a gyn-obs specialist for the same.
Sometimes the bleeding stops but there are chances that the abortion is incomplete so, the doctor advice an ultrasound lower abdomen to see if anything is still left in the uterine cavity.
Once the doctor checks the USG reports, he will be able to guide you further with appropriate management depending on the USG reports.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
