General & Family Physician, Dr. Ina Zaimi's Response
Hello dear,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Healthcare Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern.
First of all let me calm you down, because you have nothing to worry about. Normally, to get rabies, you have to be bitten or scratched by an infected animal. Second important thing is that you are not sure that the dog is infected from rabies virus, because not all dogs have rabies. My impression is that your symptoms are all psychological due to the fear you are having after the information you read or due to any other disorder which has to be evaluated, but definitely not due to rabies. You have to relax and don't think about it.
Hope I helped with my explanation. For further concerns or follow up questions feel free to ask again.
Take Care, Dr. Ina
