How Does Smoking Marijuana Affect Colonoscopy?

I m concern for my cousin who is having a colonoscopy done tomorrow. She has smoke marijuana for months. I m concern because she will be put under for this procedure. I told her to ask her doctor if she would be ok to have it done though she has been smoking for some time because when I worked for a doctor a few years ago, I kind of remember it being an issue due to the anesthesia. Am I correct? I want her to reschedule.
