How Does Smoking Tobacco During Pregnancy Affect The Foetus?

Hi I have a friend who smokes they roll their own. She is pregnant with twins and has a nine month old baby. The twins will be born Jan 10. I believe they use pipe tobacco as it is so strong. I have kept her nine month old baby and I have to give him a bath and wash his clothes as he reeks of the smell of tobacco to the point it makes me sick to my stomach. I can not make her understand that tobacco is bad for him and the babies she is carrying. They are not low birth weight as they will be about seven lbs when they are born. So I can not use that. one. Thanks. I will not pay for an answer but it is important to get an answer.

She should stop smoking imediately.
The babies are at risk of low birth weight and prematurity . Also the risk of congenital damages in babies are higher in babies of smoking mums.
