How Early Can STD Be Diagnosed After A Possible Exposure?
5 months ago i had sex activity which is i fingerd an anknown woman and kiss few seconds mouth and breast, im scared now and confused if i rub my eyes with my same finger which coverd her viginal fluid then after two weeks i tested it was negative .. doctor whats my risk?
1. It is praiseworthy from your side to take initiative for STD-related information when it matters your health and well being and rest be assured that you are at negligible risk, i.e. no one has ever acquired STD through such circumstances since for STD to occur there has to be a direct exchange of bodily fluids [semen, rectal secretions, blood, breast milk and/or vaginal fluid]
PS. because the virus dies upon exposure to oxygen which means it died before coming into contact with your eyes.
2. If you are a sexually active individual, thus keep in mind the following precautions:
- Practice safe sex - Use a good quality condom to prevent transmission of infection [the only way to control spread of H.I.V infection] - check regularly for all Sexually transmitted infections [STIs] as part of health routine.
