Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

For face i would advice that you use a broad spectrum sunscreen, with both UVA, UVB protection throughout the day.

A product containing one or more of the following ingredients like kojic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid, Arbutin, Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, tetrahydrocurcumin etc can be used on face once daily(night time). Tri-O-Bloc cream is a good choice and you should continue with it.

You can also opt for chemical peeling (glycolic peeling) sessions from a dermatologist.

Regarding pigmentation in the groins and Axilla, it is most likely post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation secondary to recurrent fungal infections and applying steroids over there for long can do more harm than good causing side effects like skin thinning and stretch marks. Therefore i would advice you to stop applying steroids.

Pigmentation would lighten by itself gradually if the fungal infections are not allowed to recur. You can use an antifungal dusting powder in the folds regularly to prevent recurrence of fungal infections.

regards
