hi dr. my name is AAAA im 19 y.o and i stand 5 3 i saw ads about gloxi its a height enhancer and i want to know if its effective for me during my age.. ive been researching for this one already but i want to make sure before i buy one i want to know if its effective and safe. what can u say about this doctor? if its not effective for me what medication can you suggest me?
At the end of the long bones which are the bones in the arms and legs, there is an area called the epiphyseal plate which is involved in adding new bone and therefore increasing height and length.
At the end of adolescence this plate becomes the epiphyseal line and no further increases are possible.
Height is mainly genetically determined though there are other factors such as inadequate diet, chronic illness, exposure to toxins that may also play a role.
Though growth can rarely extend into the 20's, it is rare. It is not likely that at age 19, any further height would be obtained because the epiphyseal line is likely present.
best wishes
