How Effective Is Microgynon In Preventing Pregnancy?
Hi, I am taking microgynon and I have been for 20 days now. I wasn t on the pill before but I did not start taking it until the day after my period ended. I know it says to take it on the first day of your period. Am I covered now to protect me from getting pregnant or would I need an emergency contraceptive as I had sex last night?

I really appreciate your concern, once you have started taking hormone pill then chances of pregnancy reduces to great extend but not eliminate completely whether you take the contraceptive on regular basis or not, because no contraceptive method is hundred per cent promising, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day,
