How Effective Is Nova Sure In Controlling Heavy Bleeding?

Hi , I m going for a nova sure on Friday. I m not sure if I want it because I have read on the internet that the procedure can make you put on weight and play with your hormones...is this true? I suffer from heavy bleeding every month. I m not sure if this is going to be the right treatment for me.
