Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, a few days ago my boyfriend and I began having unprotected sex. He was only in me for less than 30 seconds and did not ejaculate. I am a little paranoid, because he did fully penetrate and there could have possibly been pre-cum. I am not sure. He doesn t think there was. I was on day 13 of my cycle. I know that s mid-cycle, so my chances of fertility are high. About 17 hours later I purchased the Plan B One Step Pill. I haven t experienced any side effects with the exception of mild cramping and I m a little emotional/tired. Other than that, I have seen some cervical fluids in my underwear that looks white. I think I am mostly paranoid, but what are the chances that pregnancy occurred? Thanks!
It is tough to put a number to this. But plan B is an effective emergency pill and in the absence of ejaculation, I believe that the chances of you getting pregnant are low. Keep track of your period and visit an OBGYN if it is delayed by more than a week.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
