How Effective Is Using Silverx Iconic Cream For Burns?

My mom (65 yrs) has recently burnt her right thumb (a rounded spot) with spilling of hot oil droplets. She has been applying Silverx iconic cream on it. Since she needs to do various tasks in kitchen, the burnt thumb gets wet. She still has some burning sensation and little pain. What is to be done to get it healed soon? I thank you in advance for your advice in this regard.

Applying Silverx cream for burns is the right treatment, but also she needs to keep the area dry .
The pain and the burning sensation would reduce in a few days with the application of silverx cream. Just avoid bursting of the burn blisters as the popped blisters can get infected . Do not apply any other powder/ ointments.
It should heal within a week or two .
Ask her to wear a cotton glove while in the kitchen to prevent wetting the burnt area.
