How Harmful Is Overdose Of Calcium While Suffering From Spondylosis ?

my patient age 78 male hv cervical and lumber spondilyosis. I suggest him for physiotherapy and give the calcium ( vitamin D3 ) tablets but he mistakenly take double dose. After 10 days he come to me and complain of unable to walk even for a short distance. What i do right now?

double dose can't do such harm that pt. can't walk.
there must be some other associted reason for unable to walk.
consult orthopaedic or neuro surgeon for that.
