Hi , My Husband is suffering from sever inner thigh muscle strain for last month . Even with doctor follow up no improvement is seen as of now . He had taken medicines like mayopsaz, Hyfenac, Mayospaz forte, and along with that Orthopedic surgeon had provide with some neuro medicine like trinerve forte, amitrin as well . physiotherapy is also going on. But hardly he could overcome his groin(adductor)muscle strain. Please suggest what can be doine to make him sit properly , to stand atleast with the help of crutches. Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

You have not mentioned whether your husband had any injury.

Your husband might well be suffering from muscle ischemia ( decreased blood supply to muscle). As myospaz forte , trinerve forte and amitrin did not work for your husband he is likely to be suffering from muscle ischemia.

Using following drugs can help your husband
Eperisone - it has muscle relaxant as well as vasodilator activity which results in improved blood supply to the muscle.

Anti oxidants preparations containing Vitamin A, C, E and lycopene .

Neurobion injections would cover the neurological aspect

Please take these medicines after discussing with your doctor

Hope this will work for your husband and recovers soon.

Take care
