Is Meloxcam Safe For Muscle Strain From Running?

I m a runner and suffered muscle strain, i.e groin and back of knee. I have been prescribed meloxcam for joint pain in neck and back. Can I take meloxcam for muscle strain from running? I m currently taking ibuprofen but hope meloxcam is more effective.

Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of severe pain in those areas you are having , i would suggest meloxicam. so there isnothing wrong in taking those drugs and also it is effective with least side effects than ibuprofen.
