How Long Lisinopril 20mg Takes To Be Effective?
I was prescribed Lisinopril 20mg one at bedtime. Was wondering
1> How long does it take to take affect?
2> Have a wewoah affect in my stomach, like going over a hill to quick every now and then.
3> Am sleepy a lot.
Are these all normal, as I already have a low heart beat (normal), haven't seen a change on it, just bp not going down.

Hello
Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitors and a very potent drug for the management of hypertension and many cardiac condition .
In your case directly you got 20 mg so within 2-3 days your this dose will adjust and your BLOOD PRESSURE will decrease .
The side effect are many but in your case it is on the stomach ( nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain , fatigue headache , cough , hypotension etc ) but these will subside within a short period.
Due to dizziness and fatigue weakness , you are feeling sleepy , so these are side effect of drug .
Since you are taking 20 mg once daily and this will achieve a sitting DIASTOLIC BLOOD PRESSURE
