How Long After A Laparoscopic Appendectomy Will I Have Bowel Movements?
Hi. I am 16 years old and about four days ago I had a laparoscopic appendectomy. I am now at home and I can walk better, but I still don't have much appetite, and I have not had any bowel movements since the procedure. How long after a laparoscopic appendectomy would you expect one to have solid waste?

I really appreciate your concern, actually the post operative healing phase takes only weeks then it becomes alright if the symptoms still persist then it was not the appendicitis but it could be something else even if the symptoms are not related still it needs to be look for differential diagnosis, try to com out of the stress because it may be the cause, it is nothing to take anything with solid waste hope this information helps.
