How Long After Child Birth One Can Put Loop?
Hi Dr..my question is how long after child birth I can put loop...I don t want babies anymore...me and my husband decided that we are fine with my 5yr old son and 6wks old baby girl...she is our new born...so can I go for loop contraception or use condoms and wait..I don t want the loop to expel out!...????

the loop or IUCD is ideal for You. I recommend that you wait till at least 2 months following your delivery so that the uterus can return to prepregnant state.
then chance of expulsion is rare.
