How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

I have had unprotected sex and now (three/four weeks later) I m feeling off. I have extremely irregular periods (from a week to 52 days in between) so I don t know when to test. I have tried a few tests and they all come out negative. When should I know if I m pregnant?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
As you said your periods are irregular it will be difficult to tell a proper time as to when to test to be sure.
But as you said you are already 3 4 weeks delayed for next period and you have tested negative for pregnancy then most likely you are not pregnant because if a woman is pregnant then test comes positive in 1 week of missing the period.
So in your case if you would had been pregnant it should have been positive by now.
Other than that kindly consult your gynecologist as your period variation is too irregular and you might need some medications to get it regular which will help you in future.
