How Long After Tonsils Removal Will Flexibility Of Throat Palate Return?

Hello Dr. I had my tonsils removed 2.5 months ago. I had a complication ,was bleeding but the doctor operated me again and stiched the wound. But... My throat palace is not working properly. The stiched side is the one I cant move and it bothers me a lot while Im singing... actualy ,I cant sing because of it... The doctor said It will take like 6 months to gain flexibility of it again ,but the other doctor said it wont move... Can you tell me will it move or is there something to be done to regain flexibility of it... Yes, and the little thing that is hanging in the middle is not covering the nose canal so ,sometimes water comes into my nose, and that affects my singing too... Can u explain or give some advice on that, or I will never be able to sing again?
