As per your complain the symptoms of Burning in chest, nose and throat along with yellowish white patches and occasional production of yellow tan sputum can be due to Acid reflux and as there are white patches in throat it can be due to superseded bacterial throat infection.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can also advise investigations like. Throat swab culture, pH level of throat, upper G.I Endoscopy, chest x Ray to rule out the exact cause of problems and treat you accordingly. In case of acid reflux, Proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole, antacid like Milk of Magnesia, H2 blockers like Ranitidine or Famotidine, dietary modifications like taking small frequent meals, taking more of Yoghurt in diet as it is Probiotic, avoiding heavy meals, drinking plenty of water, doing moderate workout, talking walk after meals and sleeping with head slightly raised as compared to feet can help.
