Hello,

You will likely need to keep taking them while you are trying to get pregnant (it helps you to ovulate with PCO's) and we sometimes continue them thru the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

If you are taking the althea- this is a birth control pill and you likely won't be getting pregnant.

You should talk to your doctor that you want to have a baby and they will take you off your birth control and sometimes patients with PCOO's will need to take some medication to help them ovulate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
