How Long Can Ecosprin Be Safely Avoided By A Heart Patient?

My dad has undergone a TURP for his prostate gland. It s been 20 days. Ecosprin was stopped five days prior to surgery and after. We started ecosprin two days back as per doctors advise. He suddenly had clots in the urine from last night. Doctor has advised to stop ecosprin for a week now. Since he is also a heart patient I would like to know how long can we stop him from taking ecosprin. Please advise?

Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

Ecospirin needs to be restarted as soon as the bleeding issue is controlled. Stopping ecospirin for too long is not safe.

Hope this answers your question
Please let me know if you need further clarifications
