How Long Can Trazodone Be Taken?

I was in the hospital and rehab recently for a fractured pelvis, and was given Trazodone for sleep as needed I received a card of this medication when leaving for home. I am having trouble sleeping. Should I continue taking it. the tablets are 50mg. Is it an opiod? Thank you Mary S. Martin

Yes you can continue it according to your treating physicians advice.
It is not opioid. It's having antidepressants and anti-anxiety action.
