How Long Can A Formula Be Stored Post Preparation?

We are feeding our baby with Nestle Nan Pro 1 sometimes when the mother s milk is not enough. It is written on the Nestle box that it should be used within 3 weeks after opening the container. Is it true ? The hospital staff have told that after mixing the nan pro 1 powder with water it should be fed to the baby within 30 mins. Is this true ?

I understand your concern.
All medications would have manufacturing date and expiry date. It is advisable not to use the medications after expiry date.
This applies to baby food preparations also. Hence, once opened, it needs to be used as early as possible within the days as mentioned on the cartoon.
Also, once it is reconstituted, it needs to be used at the earliest. Keeping it for a longer duration could ferment the preparation and might cause certain side effects in the Gastrointestinal tract.
Strictly follow the instructions as specified.
