The 5 year survival of stage 4 cancer is 20%. This means that 1 in every 5 women with stage 4 cancer can be expected to live for 5 years. If there are no distant metastasis (stage IVA), the patient can be expected to live longer. If there are distant metastasis, survival is reduced.
