How Long Can A Person Survive With A Liver Failure?

Hello. Do you have any idea how long a person has to live once they have been told they are in liver failure. My sister has triple neg breast cancer which is secondary in the liver. The hosp. have confirmed her liver is failing but I wonder if its days or weeks?

Hello,
Out of many reasons for liver failure, you are discussing about failure of liver due to spread of cancer to liver. In this case, generally 5-year survival possibility in such cases are 20-30%. Survival not only depend on spread of cancer to liver but also depend on overall bulk of cancer, number of affected organs, effect on general condition of body and appetite and immune system
