How Long Can One Take Senokot-S Post Hysterectomy?
Hi, I am looking for the side affects for senokot s that I have been taking for more than 7 days since I just had a vaginal hysterectomy and vaginal prolapse. I was told to take senokot s so that I will not get my bowels backed up, but I am concerned about taking this for so long. Could you please advise me? Thank You

Snenokot is a laxative. You can continue senokot with out much concerns. It is a safe drug and has got very minimal side effects. You can take fiber rich foods to soothen your bowe movements irrespective of senokot.
