How long could it take for a hairline fracture to the third and fourth rib take also there is some cartilage bruising/ I was told there was nothing to do but take it easy for 3-4 months no weight training etc..Thanks Opps I am sorry I did not know there was a charge for this ..Thanks anyway

Hairline fracture usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to unite and since it in ribs it takes less time. For 4 weeks u should wear rib belt and avoid weight training.
